Caped Crusader

From the minds of executive producers J.J. Abrams (Star Wars: The Force Awakens), Matt Reeves (The Batman), and Bruce Timm (Batman: The Animated Series) comes a brand new animated series for the Dark Knight and releasing on Prime Video this summer with Batman: Caped Crusader.

Check out the first trailer…

Welcome to Gotham City, where the corrupt outnumber the good, criminals run rampant and law-abiding citizens live in a constant state of fear. Forged in the fire of tragedy, wealthy socialite Bruce Wayne becomes something both more and less than human—the BATMAN. His one-man crusade attracts unexpected allies within the GCPD and City Hall, but his heroic actions spawn deadly, unforeseen ramifications.

The series stars Hamish Linklater (Midnight Mass) as Batman/Bruce Wayne, Christina Ricci (Yellowjackets) as Catwoman/Selina Kyle, Jamie Chung (Lovecraft Country) as Harley Quinn/Dr. Harleen Quinzel and Diedrich Bader (who plays Batman in the Harley Quinn series) is Two-Face/Harvey Dent.

It also stars Minnie Driver (The Witcher: Blood Origin), Mckenna Grace (Ghostbusters: Afterlife), Eric Morgan Stuart (Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare game), Michelle C. Bonilla (Love, Death & Robots), Krystal Joy Brown (She-Ra and the Princesses of Power), John DiMaggio (Teen Titans Go!), Paul Scheer (Knuckles), Reid Scott (Merry Little Batman), Tom Kenny (Rick and Morty), Jason Watkins (Psychoville), Gary Anthony Williams (WondLa), Dan Donohue (For All Mankind), David Krumholtz (The Santa Claus), Haley Joel Osment (The Sixth Sense) and Toby Stephens (Lost in Space).

Season one of Batman: Caped Crusader will be released on 1 August on Prime Video.
